KONNECTGOLF TO OPEN, FEATURING FIRST DAVID LEADBETTER ACADEMY IN NEW YORK CITY
NEW YORK, NY (January 22, 2018) – Konnectgolf, “Konnect”, the new social, indoor golf club, has recently opened its doors to a private membership with access to playing over 200 of the world’s premier golf clubs with the highest quality technology, professional instruction and golf equipment.
Co-Owners Ralph Kartzman and Lee Hetfield, both admitted “golf addicts” and private club members, developed the Club’s concept after becoming frustrated by the lack of high-quality golf experiences in the city. With a goal of creating a private club environment while offering quality golf and a professional setting for networking and client events, Konnect launched with partnerships with The Leadbetter Golf Academies for athletes entering the sport, as well as dedicated golfers looking to work on their game.

World-renowned golf coach, David Leadbetter, announced today that The Leadbetter Golf Academy will be opening their first indoor location in the United States, located in Manhattan, NY. The academy is set to open in mid-February and will be led by PGA Senior Professional, Steve Keogh, from Canberra, Australia. Keogh is a skilled golfer and instructor alike, having gone through extensive Leadbetter training to add to his impressive resume. Keogh also specialize in 3D analysis and golf bio-dynamics.
“Expanding The Leadbetter Golf Academy in the Tri-state area has been a goal of mine for a while now. Obviously, weather conditions limit things a bit up north, which is why we have decided to partner with Konnectgolf” said 2017 PGA Teacher of the Year, David Leadbetter. “Konnect offers a fantastic location, state-of-the-art equipment, top instruction and great entertainment. These factors made the partnership a no-brainer for us.”
Konnect is currently accepting membership applications and will continue to seek out partners that bring value to the membership while sharing similar standards when it comes to customer service, customization and quality. Additionally, Konnect is offering advanced bookings for one-on-one lessons with the director of instruction, Steve Keogh.
